WIN Symposium in Personalized Cancer Medicine 2012

Posted on Thursday, July 5, 2012

Definiens enjoyed interesting disucssions during the WIN Symposium in personalized cancer medicine last week in Paris. There’s clearly interesting steps towards targeted therapies – and especially promising advances with respect to genomic methods have been discussed. However, the full potential of tissue samples for personalized treatment remains largely untapped. Have a look at the Definiens poster for an example of what will become possible by integrating automated image analysis of tissue samples with data mining!
